But the Stihl blowers are lighter and more comfortable. I have 2 Redmax 8500 blowers that are much more powerful than Stihl BR600s. The trimmers (23) are a lot lighter than FS90s, and they have been holding up well. RedMax’s line of heavy-duty, commercial grade trimmers can clear, trim or edge large areas of unwanted grass and weeds with ease. The older echo equipment was good stuff but the last 2 new pieces of echo equipment I bought has been troublesome so I did not even consider echo. I have been migrating to Redmax from Stihl. My old echo bit the dust and I shopped around and wound up with the Redmax. This past Friday I was in the market for a new weedeater. ![]()
